3rd place

On Thursday in our school was an orientating competition. From almost each high school class was a team with 5 people. We had a map, some clues and a photo of a pit stop where we had to get and two hours time. Also our class was the only one with so many girls in team.When we started it was raining, so at the beginning we actually didn’t want to compete because of that, but when we were about 5 minutes in rain, we were like -who cares, it's only rain. When we got in school we were so wet, that it looked like we were just out of shower, but it was worth it, because it was a really fun experience- we ran in rain, jumped in puddles, and definitely thru that got a little bit closer with classmates. When we got to school we weren’t first, so automatically we thought that in places we won’t be in final three, but on the next day we found out the results and it appeared that we were 3rd. So congrats to us. :D :D

Jiiihaaaaa

I haven’t written in here for a while. 

honestly it has happened so much and I just can’t remember all of it, so I’ll just tell you about the last couple of days.

On last holiday I was at Kristinas country. She had a big family event- May ball. So we went to place named Līves. There they have a big house, guests house, swings, sauna, fun house and everything what you can imagine. Together there were about 100 people and funny thing is that they all are relatives, but there are parts who they don’t know. We had a fun day with games, a lot of food, dancing, novus playing e.t.c.  When it started to get dark we went to sauna, where we sweated till we couldn’t handle, and afterwards we were swimming in river- Gauja, so we discovered season. It was so nice, because I hadn’t been in a real sauna for a while, so it was just great. There was a little accident too. One boy slipped and felt ,in sauna, but I think he didn’t hurt himself, but when he went to swim he fainted in water, but luckly there was Kristinas cousin who got him out. Afterwards when adults were already sleeping, we sang karaoke, and jumped on trampoline for a while, than we went to sleep on a guest house or something like that. It was a little house where were only beds. At some point Kristina got cold ,even if she had two leather jackets on and two blankets, so she got around me and than at the beginning I started to get cold, but later it was just too hot and I was trying to gently get rid of her.  In the morning I woke up with a bruise on my armpit, and it’s still a mystery how did I got it :D On the next day we just chilled, we were swinging with swings, playing ball e.t.c. But we also went to barn, and we fed sheeps and cows. Overall it was a one great weekend. And honestly after this experience I’m considering when I grow up to live in a place like this, even if it’s a lot of work.

Easter time

So it's time for easter.!!
On Thursday we had a short day in school and afterwords we went to one houses roof. It was a really sunny day so we were just chillin on roof and chatting with friends. On one side of the roof was  this thick black thing, which is usually on streets, in latvian it's called - piķis. And my friend sat on it and ruined her pants, she tried to take it off with water and paper, but in the end it just looked worse and worse, her pants were ruined. Also a surprise was that one guy colored his hair in electro green color. It's so strange he can color his hair in what color he wants and it will look good on him, but for example me, i can't i just look terrible with black or red hair.
On Friday i with family went to country to visit my grandparents. Well it was nothing special. We worked a little bit and than celebrated easter.
On Sunday we were celebrating easter with other grandparents, that was really funny, because parents were drinking vine and when they drink you just can't stop laughing about their behavior.
I also got sick , but that was only one day, and my tummy just hurt. :)
So on easter i actually did almost everything i needed, except i didn't swing , so i guess insects will bite me all summer long.
And also one miracle happened. I cleaned my room. It's actually something really big for me, because it's usually clean for a day or maximum two and than it just looks like my closet has exploded , but it has been already 3 days , so will see maybe i 'll have my personal record. For very tidy people this i guess would sound like- are you serious, but for people like me -it's big.

Last friday, i got an offer to work, so i said why not. At work i had to offer people to trie out some new food. I was really kind to people, but now i get those who usually does that, i usually ignore them but now, i might not do that anymore, because when they did that to me , i just wanted to say something bad to them.
After working i wanted to have some fun. Everyone at that night were going to SF, but we didn't want to go there, so i with friends decided to go to green wood, but when we got there we didn't have our party mood , so we got away and went to kebab. Actually that was so fun, and at the end of the night i was happy , that we didn't stay at green wood to long. On Sunday was 1. april, it's my moms birthday too, so we were celebrating. Parents and grandparents got really drunk, and i with my brother laughed so hard about them, that we almost started to crie. So overall i can say that i had a fun weekend.

K - CHING

One amazing night with friends.
First we went to place named Ala. It was full of people so we had to go somewhere else, but before leaving Katrin saw her music teacher and they both laughed about it. So we went to Green wood. We were there on 10 PM, a little early, that's why, there were I with friends(about 12 people) and some english turists, who were drunk, so we were a little bit scared of them. Around midnight place got full of people , so we were dancing and other stuff- just having fun.
Afterwords I with Katrin and Sabine went to in latvian called kojas, it's place were students live, if they live far from school. We couldn't go through main doors, because it's not allowed for people, who doesn't live there, so we were climbing on balconies and went through window, that was a funny adventure. And than we went to sleep, yeah right, what are the chances :D :D

Last week I went to party, and I woke up with a friendship bracelet on my hand and a sticker with Tru fix cru symbol, but I have no idea even now whos bracelet it was, because in the morning there were only couple of people left and no one knew, which person did that. But I guess I got a new friend, even if I don’t know who :D :D

It was so nice to finally be able to ride with bike, so I guess I have started bike season- very, very happy thing.

I cant wait for summer ,when I will ride to Jurmala with bike and friends :D Also I with Paula and Santa have a plan for summer to trip with bikes from trampoline to trampoline,so that should be something to remember.

Also I tried something really interesting- mountain climbing. I had never done this in my life, until last Saturday, when my classmate offered me to go. It was just so spontaneous  idea. 

We did it for 3.5 hours and now it’s my new hobby. ;)) After first time my hands hurt a little bit , but that’s just  the price to pay, and it’s worth it. 

I actually can’t wait the next time I will be able to do that.

Also nice thing is that spring has really started, because two days last week were really hot(for spring).

In summer in Salacgriva is this festival - Positivus. And today on Palladium will be a pre party and I’m probably going , so will see how it goes.

To sum up I can say, that these past days were great and rememberable.

Monday-something you can laugh about

Spring break has almost ended there have 2 days left. In short words about this week- 

On Monday I had to do something interesting- I was one persons slave , for two hours. Don’t get me wrong, because it’s just because we had a bet that I lost, so I helped him shop, carried his stuff and also helped to dress up. To dress him up was the funniest thing I have ever done because he was acting like a little kid and from that cabin came out sounds like uuu, aa , ghaaaa, stop it , here it goes, yesss :D an we came out red and with bad hair style, so women who worked there looked at us and laughed :D:D

On Tuesday a met some of my friends. Well all the time I have been this optimistic person, who sees in everyone only the good side, well they changed that, because I understood that people who were kind and nice and all the good, actually are bi***es , I don’t want to be rude, but that’s just how it is, so for now on I won’t be so optimistic.

On Wednesday I met Paula and Santa I spent all day with them. We were like eweryvere, we ate a lot, and I found out about this cool place Illy caffee, actually it’s a Hipster caffee :D

And now it’s  Friday and will see how it goes ...

Nothing

I haven’t wrote for a while, so this maybe will be a longer post.

In last few weeks a lot have happened.

There was a party because of Paula’s name day. Well it was a success, and that’s probably all you should know about that night. 

Also my class with one more class went to Tartu, to physics centre AHHAA and 4d cinema. That day was really fun, well spend time with classmates. After excursion I with some of them went to Simonas house to chill.So we were just chillin killin.
Also spring has already started and I’m super excited that soon will be summer.

Also there’s a school brake. Last day I spent with couple of classmates at Pizzeria and afterwards with a friend of mine. Although its only a week, well it’s at least something :D

My brother got his first salary from playing hockey, so we celebrated that on woki toki and yoyo :))

I’m also sick (physically not mentally :D) , so some time I will be spending in bed.

Oh yeah...

Well this week was great.

School week was easy, like nothing special, but after school is where the actions happen.

Firstly I went to an event which in latvian is called - žetonu vakars. It’s kinda befour graduation party, where people who will graduate this year get a ring with symbol of school. It was my brothers žetonu vakars. They had a little play where my brother was responsible for sound system and he was also speaker. After that ,was the main part, where people got their rings.

Secondly on Saturday was Paulas name day party. Well it was one really fun event. From my class there were about 9 people and we were pretty much all the time together. Yeah our class (at least that part who was there) is something special. If you would know what happened there,   you could imagine what crazy stuff will happen on twelfth grade.

But a little sad is that when we thought that spring is coming, winter came back :( I’m not a hater of winter it’s just enough of it, let’s have some other season

This was one amazing week in many ways: 1- I had such a good mood all week, I was like flying, if you know want I mean :D ;D  2- it was Valentine’s day, usually I don’t like it, but this time it was a lots of fun  3- and the main reason latvians won, I just really want to say ” F**K you russian people, who voted for second official language, russian language,” those who were against it won woooohoo, im just soooo happy about that.

So overall just one amazing week...

I don’t know why, but this song goes thru my mind over and over again. Actually it reminds me of someone, who isn’t in Latvia anymore... maybe it’s a sign?! but who knows..

Another week

Another week has come to an end.

There were only positive things for me. For example I finally met a friend of mine, which I hadn’t met for more than a year. Not because we live so far from each other, just we've been busy, that’s all, or maybe she just hates me and doesn’t want to tell me that  :D :D

If I look back, than I can say, the whole week was a one big chill. One of teachers was sick, so we had less lessons, ofcours I had some tests too, but that’s nothing unusual.

And on top of that on Friday was our schools birthday, so everyone got glammed up, actually in school was a feeling, that only couple of classes got glammed up, but that’s their choice. Also because of schools birthday, we had a concert, were people sang and danced, just like always, but in this time there was something wierd- there is this song ''Saule, pērkons, daugava'' and every time I’m listening to this song, I get shakes all over my body , but this time-nothing., for me that seamed wierd...

So i have started my blog, but i have not told you anything about me, so maybe lets start from the beginning.

 I’m Laura , from Valdlauchi city ,as you can say from my nikk i have blond hair. There is this stereotype that blond ones are stupid, but i disagree, yes i have my blond moments, but who doesn’t, everyone has had situation , when someone doesn’t understand you, or you don’t understand someone, that’s just the way it goes, so I think that to be blond is just more fun !!!A little bit about hobby’s, well i like all sports, and fun activities. I used to go on theater on ice, whrealy fun place, where you can't meet serious people, ofcours you get figure skating skill, just like in a  usual figure skating , you  just do it with no strings attached. I loved that on shows we could change our costumes on one dance you’re African dancer , on other you’re a cowboy girl, or a girl from Paris, or just an ice cream.(some of those in the picture)  As i said fun place to go to. But I’m no longer going there, that’s a pity, i guess :D So a little about school, well 6 months ago i finished ninth grade, and now I’m in high school. I also changed schools, and got new classmates. As a result i got new friends. Well about friends, i don’t have much to say, those who are, i know are real friends, and will be no matter what. With couple of them I’ve had some really crazy experience too, but about that i better woun’t write in here, or you will have a bad impression about me. What else? Well maybe music taste. I like weird and not so weird music, with that i meant- indie rock, alternative rock, classic rock, e.t.c. , well i am a little bit a  rock chick. Actually it's in my blood, but about that maybe some other time ...

I loved this day, althought it was reaaaaaaaaaly cold, i had only 4 lessons and it kinda made my day grate , becaus all day wasn't spent in school !!!!
January has ended , and when i look back, at this past month, i think my year has started whrealy good - grades at school are good, i've bin to some crazy and not so crazy partys,met some new,interesting people, also class has become even more friendlyer, i have also messedup some things but those things just happen, and no matter what ,i like to believe , if it's not good it's not the end...
